2019 has so far been the year of sick days and snow days.
Luckily most of Mi Families (and my-own-family’s) schedules are flexible.
If it takes us a couple weeks to get through Valentine activities – it’s ok!
It’s never to early or too late to celebrate those you love!
Tots to teens in our programs enjoyed doing lovely activities throughout last week and this week.
Some of the materials we utilized were a part of our Mother Goose Time curriculum.
Mother Goose Time prepackages theme based kits for preschoolers.
This month the theme is “Health and Fitness.”
We’ve been learning about healthy foods and activities…
and the importance of having healthy / happy hearts!
We’ve been learning ways to keep our bodies and brains healthy and strong.
We build up our brains by incorporating all subjects throughout our themes.
From learning basic skills such as shapes and colors…
To learning more about the arts and language arts…
We integrate reading, writing, math, science, social studies, etc throughout our themes!
Many of the pictures in this article showcase materials supplied by MGT.
Visit www.MotherGooseTime for more information about their materials.

Mi Families facilitates programs for families and those who work with families,
such as provider trainings, parent workshops, family events and youth services.
Our youth services include infant through preschool playgroups, tutoring sessions, and k-12 homeschool classes.
One of the places my husband and I provide homeschool classes is through the TCAPS homeschool partnership in Northern Michigan. For more information on the Partnership or Mi Families programs please email Christi@MiFamilies.com
