It’s time for Mi Families to plan out fall fun! Mi Families (“my families“) LLC facilitates programs for families and those who work with families. Those who work with families include teachers, caregivers, social workers … We’re helping programs prepare for back2school season with workshops and scheduling trainings for CPR and more! Family programs include full family events, parent workshops and resources … and programming for the youngest of family members.
Adventure Academy is our youth program for tots to preteens. As summer services wind down we’re setting up for our fall semester and enrolling students in our discovery daycare and elementary explorer services. From learning through play activities to academic tutor times we teach through hands on fun using engaging curriculums. One of the top rated curriculums we utilize in our multi-age classroom is Mother Goose Time.
Mother Goose Time is a theme based preschool curriculum that can be adapted for a multi-stage-learners. While early learners are introduced to new concepts – advanced students expand on the basic lessons. We are currently transitioning from our nature camp theme to our hero camp program using supplies provided by MGT. As we transition into the new school year kids in our summer camp program and those who visit our new “Parent and Me Partnership Preschool” will be enjoying such hero supplies!
Christi Morgan worked for Mother Goose Time and enjoys using their curriculum with her students, as well as her own children. MGT and other curriculums are chosen based on program adaptability and open ended learning experiences. With more than 2 decades of experience as a teacher, caregiver, counselor, coach, ABA tech, program director, etc – Christi has tried many curriculums and appreciates companies like MGT that research best practices and change formats accordingly.
Research is the reason Christi’s small daycare blossomed into a business providing resources for beyond the children she was working with. Research and requests defined Mi Families mission of “Reaching out with resources, through educational and recreational adventures.” We should never want to stop learning or sharing what we have learned with others. It doesn’t matter if those we teach are young or old we should pass on our passion for learning…
Christi continues to learn beyond her 2 Bachelor degrees and encourages her team members to do the same. Mi Families team members and family members are growing with all of our services. Although most programs are facilitated in the Northern mitten – some services are state wide. Email Christi@MiFamilies.com for more information. Also feel free to email regarding enrolling your child in our Adventure Academy program for preschoolers and homeschoolers near Kingsley.
